With more than 600 athletes competing in 17 sports, athletics are essential to the overall student experience at St. Edward High School. The athletic department’s philosophy emphasizes players as learners first—and then athletes. The teamwork and discipline gained on the playing field perfectly complement all we teach in our classrooms and embrace in our Catholic faith.

Wrestling Clinches 2026 Duals State Championship | 49th for Program, 81st for School
Congratulations to the St. Edward Wrestling program for winning the 2026 Ohio Duals state championship over the weekend, beating Avon Lake 64-6 in the quarterfinals, Perry Township 47-20 in the semifinals, and Coffman 39-29 in the finals.
The championship marks the 49th state championship for the program and the 81st for the school.
